Understanding the Unethical Executive

The holidays this year will be different for many. The economy is on most Americans' minds, with many wishing and needing for it to improve. Private industry is cautious, as there are many legitimate questions about risk.

Fraud has been estimated to account for a significant percentage of GDP (trillions of dollars). Fraud in the senior management ranks is estimated to do 16 times more financial damage than fraud committed by entry-level employees.

On December 17th, we will be hosting a two-hour program on Understanding the Unethical Executive. We plan to share with you what to look for in those with whom you do business in order to not "bet the farm." Our two guest lecturers, Professor Kelly Pope of DePaul University, and Professor Harry Kraemer of Kellogg's School of Management will discuss factors that cause senior executive teams to cross the line.

Welcome to this first Winter Lecture Series at 10:00 AM on December 17th:
De Paul University O'Hare Campus: Room 205
8770 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue
Chicago IL 60631

About our Guest Lecturers:

Harry Kraemer is a Professor of Leadership at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and author of Values to Action (2010).

Kelly Richmond Pope, PhD, an accounting Professor at DePaul University has completed multiple interviews with white-collar felons. Dr. Pope is preparing a documentary entitled: "Crossing The Line," that builds on the many new insights related to fraud in the c-suite gained since ENRON. A trailer to her much anticipated documentary is here: http://vimeo.com/rsalisbu/cotltrailer
