
David (Daven) E. Morrison III, M.D.
David Morrison III, M.D. was born in New York City, and raised in Topeka
Kansas and Barrington, Illinois. He graduated from Northwestern University
in 1988 with an undergraduate degree in Spanish literature, and in 1992
from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. During his psychiatric
residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, his work included: three
emergency rooms, two outpatient mental health centers, three psychiatric
hospitals, three general medical hospitals, and eleven locked psychiatric
units. He has taught second, third and fourth year medical students as
well as being a ward psychiatrist, and a Chief Resident of Psychiatry in
the Veteran's Administration hospitals in Cleveland and Brecksville, Ohio.
Working on Morrison Associates' projects since 1980, Dr. Morrison began
as a full-time consultant in 1996. As Director of Medical Services, his
primary role also includes leading individual consultations for executives,
facilitating seminars, and developing new products.
While in medical school he met his wife, Jeanette, and they completed their
individual residencies in psychiatry and internal medicine before moving
back to Chicago in 1996. Their interests include gardening, hiking, and
tennis.
